As I posted earlier. This is a game I have been passively following for about a year now. it is also a game I will more then likely buy and play on Launch Day. I do need to get more up to speed on the game mechanics but this is the first game in a while that I am actually excited about at least trying if not playing. |

I'm with you, Moge. I was kinda so-so about this one for a while and now I'm really starting to get excited about it. I want to see the open beta before I let myself get too 'invested' in it. |

Since they've added ship to ship combat and lots of other tweaks its gottened me ready to see it. I just hope that the game is as dynamic as its sounding to keep it interesting in 'end-game'. I hate getting my hopes up about new MMOGs. |

For the moment (until such times as I get a proper job) I can't afford to play another MMO. Hopefully, I'll have a proper job by the time this is released! |

I am still quite excited about the game despite the delay. Here's hoping a bunch of us get in the expanded closed and then later open beta. Naturally we couldn't discuss gema details in the closed beta but could at least report to other here that it is in fact fun and fits as an "Avian" game. I did see a thread on their forms late yesterday about someone not liking the sounds of a potential grind where you could only access certain waters if you are appropriate level. Well you could go as a level 1, but the NPCs in those waters would be much higher and you'd get blown apart. Think WoW progression: Elwynn, Westfall, Darkshire, etc. I'll try to find the thread and link it when I get a chance at work today. EDIT: here's the link to the forum discussing a potential grind scenario. I haven't read the whole thing yet so will not post any further comments. |
