Post subject:  Char custom, open seas travel, and boarding fights movie
Check out the following movie posted May 17/07 showing the character customization options, travelling in open seas mode, walking around town, discussion of melee combat styles, and first ever footage of the boarding action.

Things to note:
- fricken amazing amount of character customization (I am still waiting to see screenies of non-pirate clothing - but have read that the same degree of customization exists for the European factions)

- combat styles:
1. florentine = defense (sword and dagger dual wield)
2. fencing = offence (biggest damage)
3. dirty tricks = focus on disorientation/forcing offbalance

- boarding - multiple smaller ships can grabble and board the same target, thus having much greater success against ships with larger crews

Wow, the boarding combat looks like a blast. Should be fun to have a few Avian captains hop on board and mop up the other crew. I wonder who gets commendations in a multiple ship battle.
The storyline about the freetraders doing some political intrigue sounded cool as well. Looks like fun!

thank god peg legs are a reward item...can you imagine everyone walking around with a patch and one leg lol!
