Star Wars: The Old Republic: Deceived

Remember one of the first trailers to TOR, Deceived?

Well I am late finding this, but for those of us would can’t wait for The Old Republic’s release, there is a new book that begins with the detailed events of the Deceived trailer. The first three chapters are free, you can get chapter 1 at Star Wars: The Old Republic, chapter 2 at StarWars.com, and chapter 3 at Rebelscum.com

I am reading chapter 2 right now and I find myself reading, playing, pausing, reading, and playing the trailer and book over and over. So far so good. I think I am going to purchase the book since I am in the mood for all things Star Wars right now.

I am a consultant, and as such I drive a lot (or spend a lot of time in traffic)... so I listen to a lot of audible books.

I just finished listening too "Star Wars: The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance"... pretty good story, great production with sound affects in the background, and sound effects used for some of the character's voices. I am hoping this books turns in a Flash Point or something in the game... The HEXs seem to be a an encounter built for such.

About half way through Decieived... I had no idea that the book would follow that trailer, but as soon as I got into the book it occurred to me I had seen this somewhere before!!! I was pretty impressed.

I'm a couple chapters into Star Wars: The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance. There are what could be clues into character gameplay or possibly just wishful thinking from the reader. Great way to build excitement for the game.
