Some notes I found on the TOR Forums from E3:
http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=332297As there was no recording of the Live BCast, I decided to take notes for my guild, of which I'm happy to share with you all.
Was typing pretty fast so forgive if I got something wrong or missed some detail. Tried to get the most important things, as well as the answers to the most important questions posted.
Notes
Tattoine = HUGE!
Bounty Hunters receive a Jawa comapnion called Blizz, ranged dps, can dodge, lots of tech based abilities
Lots of different levels, styles and designs for speeder bikes
DE Played a BH at lvl 26
Mounts are available at lvl 25, variable due to testing
Sarlaac is in-game, Capable of knocking other players into it. Possibly insta-death.
There is an auto-loot option.
Level cap is 50
Set looks for companions are unlockables called "kits" - but you can fit them with special armor.
Droid companions get their own unique type of armor plating, as in the KOTOR series
Can pay to extend inventory. No more details on if its permanent, or on a term by term basis, different slot for Quest items, of which there is no cap
PvP is capable at level 1!!!
One more warzone has yet to be released. Supposedly very special.
Tatooine is visitable by all classes, Dune Sea will be a huge PvP server hotspot
Story-base instances are based on where you are. But their instances are not cut off from the rest of the world. They're small and tight.
Depending on brackets, your lvl/powers/abilities will be buffed
You will be able to earn extra darkside/lightside points outside of combat/dialogue, by interacting with objects. For instance, in one storyline instance there was a painting depicting Sand People history. There was an option to destroy it for extra DS points
There will be Force Using companions. Shows up in certain classes - some which DE says are very surprising.
Cannot sell your own companion for credits
You WILL be able to visit different planets no matter which story chapter you are on
There will likely be RPvP servers. DE also hinted at a lot of tools for Roleplayers
When you die, there is a Medical Probe option that revives you exactly where you died. Upon revival you have 12 secs of Ultra-Stealth that no one can see.
Corellia is not a warzone, it is a huge city that is a war scene. So likely questable and exploreable.
You really can't level solely through pvp, as it you will be gated because of the quest line content. Potentially possible after reaching Dromund Kaas however.
If your companion dies, as long as you live - you can bring your companion back. Doesn't work the other way.
