But I want this one... Even without the TOR logo...

Then again... I always wanted an Aurebesh keyboard....

It is incredible with the amount of hype stirring up about TOR. One could get worried about the fact that the hype is used to cover up for something.
(In same breath, I don't like Apple, Halo nor WoW)...

official linky

So I have turned into a bit of a Razer fanboy by accident. I have the lycosa keyboard, Mamba mouse and vespula mousepad (last two were gifts from my fiance that I didn't even think to ask for...).

I would love if that mouse pad fit the vespula but it looks standalone. (it has the same shape, but the black areas would be cutout on the vespula for it to fit.

(the vespula uses a rubber mat and hand rest that hold the actual dual surface mousepad in place and therefore could be swapped out for a different surface quite easily).

I have been researching good prizes for gamers, therefore I have been looking at several Razer products. The more I looked at cool keyboards, mice, keypads, mouse pad surfaces, and headsets the more I want to buy some for myself.

I would love to hear more pros and cons about these items and other gaming peripherals.

So are you able to choose the Icons for the Dynamic Adabtive Keys? Are they small LCDs?

Re Razer products

The lycosa I like - but I am not totally sold on, I seem to get sticky keys more then I feel like I should, the touch pad in the upper right is cool, but occasionally seems to activate via ghost. Also I like the backlight, but without it - you wont be able to see your keys very well. Otherwise I like the size (not to big but has a wrist guard) and feel of the keys.

The Mamba I like, I had a logitech MX series and the button placement is similar. On the fly adjustable sensitivity, Operates in wired or wireless mode - battery pack so no AA required. Recharges on the base that transmits the wireless signal or via wired connection.

Mouse pad surfaces for razer seem to mainly be hard surfaced which work well for the Mamba - it does not like microfiber surfaces, it will catch the fibers and make the control surface and areas on the bottom of the mouse look like shit.

The Vespula has 2 sides a speed and a control side -I typically stay on speed side unless I am playing an FPS. I honestly really haven't tested it out enough to say if there is a real difference. The wrist pad is nice - it is a seperate piece that fits together with the surface which turned me off at first but it seems to work well.

Check out Razer's guide to your mouse type, helpful in figuring out how you use a mouse and what you need.

I'm quite keen on the keyboard. It's nice to note that Amazon UK sells the line, which is where I tend to get a lot of stuff these days.

So what Razer Keyboard would you buy? I am looking at the following two, but I am all ears if you see something better:

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth Edition

My comments re the Lycosa are above, its a decent keyboard. the BlackWidow looks like it has Macro keys, which is a plus.

I never understood why the discontinued the Tarantula: http://store.razerzone.com/store/razeru ... .169420000
