It turns out the Cinematic I saw in another thread from the live E3 was different than the Return, the one I saw had bits and pieces of other cinematics in it. Loved the return.

I saw this Trailer when I rolled out of bed this morning. I have been flying all over Kuwait today so I could not comment.

At first I thought it was a little too much John Woo (over the top action). But once I got back to command I watched it again and I believe I liked it more the second time around. Very cool spin on a new smuggler. We also get to see some player ships in the trailer.

Its funny, that's what the smuggler was like in early SWG Beta. Dual wielding pistols, flourishes on the holstering animations...

I have said it before, I will say it again, I am going to LOVE LOVE LOVE that Sith / Jedi will be taken down by non-force using players. It makes my cold dead heart all warm and fuzzy thinking about it.

Look forward to the same thing...

Though I am going to be a Jedi Knight... Havent decided on Guardian or Sentinel, but I'll figure that out once ingame.

SW:TOR:Return of Avian - I'm all for it. I'm also looking forward to a smuggler toon.

Beautiful movie with amazing tech behind it! And yes - the smuggler - GIGGITY! What an awesome and excellent visualization of them! Favorite part was at around 1:45 when it wasn't abundantly clear which way he was going - was he going to help, was he going to present himself as a smuggler in service to the Sith.

But a pretty movie does not a game make. I'm going to remain a curmudgeon on this one, waiting a few months after release before I buy.

Very true, but after listening to many podcasts by Darth hater, and reading many posts both here and on the official game forums, I WILL be getting this day one. Bioware seems to have everything lining up nicely for crafters, PvE combat specialists, PvP fanatics, etc. etc., alike. I am a bit disappointed on the "on rails" space combat but there is just too much other amazing sounding stuff for me to ignore and not be a part of right away.

When playing the game... just think like dungeons and dragons... don't look at the board. Descripe the game events as you imagine it. That'll beat the trailers by far, when talking to others...

*throwing around natron*
It's sprinkledust! :p
