Yes. We can address transferring leadership when it is feasible. I think we can handle having a Rogue leader for a couple of days if necessary. ;)

btw, I believe we decided on "Avian Technology" for the In-Game name. If that is too long (better not be) then we can just use Avian.

If they have a place for a short name as well, do we want to go for ATaT? Or do you think AVIAN would be best?

I need a full group with me to make the guild. So that means 3 other folks in game with me to create the guild. I have the cash. Lets try to coordinate something where we have all early entry folks on at the same time so we can get it done.

It is currently 2:41 PM MST here. I will be home by hopefully 5:15 PM, and can get on immediately. Do we all need to be of sufficient level to get to Coruscant? I made my toon and played enough to ding to level 2 at lunch, but that's all I've got right now.

Not sure if we all have to be there, or just "grouped"... good question.

I'll be online, but quite late. Not sure if you need to be at same location or if the guild setup can be done via popup message or in game mail or what.

We created the guild this evening. Mantison did the honors, and promoted DF to leader. I sent him 1k credits to help defray the costs.

WE'RE OFFICIAL, PEOPLE!

Finally! In game, in guild and leveling up having fun. Have to log for a bit (been in all day, off and on while sort of working) then gonna jump back in tonight and try for first heroic quest The Chamber of Speech. If anyone is on Tython tonight and wanna help out for some quick fun let me know!

By the way, thanks for the guild invite. It will be fun to see everyone online in the next few weeks!

wow, that stinks, game goes live and the queues start? I guess I have been lucky to date with no waiting. Gonna suck if I get home Thursday after a long week of working and can't log in!

Be patient. It is launch day, also known as retard day. Que's will iron themselves out over the next week as new players will migrate to newer servers, and established early entry folks will stick out their established characters.

The next week or so will require some patience.

I hope our server doesn't get full before I have a chance to create my character!

Does anyone know how to transfer characters from one server to another, and how much it costs to do so? I've been looking on SWTOR.com and haven't been able to find any info on it.

Any help is appreciated :-)

I would expect them to open up in a month or so after population stabilizes a bit. Even then I would expect it to be people from over populated servers may move to this list of under populated servers.

Eventually they will have fee based transfers I would hope...

Good to know, I'll keep an eye out. Sounds like we'll be making new characters then! No big deal.

Is Sanctum of Exalted full?

Note: I split this thread from the global annoucement to keep that post clean...

I created a character over lunch, and the server came up as "full" in the list, however, I was able to get in and create a character, and even play. I'm not sure what full means, exactly, but just a heads up.

I remember seeing something about that being a bug in the last beta. Maybe it carried over to live.

I think I hate you just a little bit.

I used to read Penny Arcade all the time, but haven't in a couple of years now unless someone links me to a really good one.

If you haven't yet, you need to read Darths and Droids (http://darthsanddroids.net/episodes/0001.html)
Also required is DM of the Rings (http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?p=612)

DM of the Rings came first, and Darths and Droids was made to continue the trend in homage. I personally think that Darths and Droids is a bit better, but I've laughed full belly laughs and at times laughed so hard tears have come out from both.

Of course, it helps if you've played old school pen and paper role playing games before. You may not be quite that geeky. Yet...

EDIT: I originally edited your post, instead of quoting it. I must be a mod on the forums now. I've never noticed (or accidentally clicked) the little edit button on people's posts before. Sorry about that.

Thanks, because I needed something else non work-related to do at work! :-)

I have a level 10 on Sanctum, and a level 20 Sith on Ajunta Pall, where are you with leveling?
