I got my Legacy yesterday. My last name was taken so I had to improvise. So all the characters on the server will share your Legacy last name? My characters are not the same species and the original intent was not to create a family. Hope we have the choice to add them to the family or not. Right now I don’t think we have that option. |

They all share a legacy, but you can turn that off on individual characters.... Even cross faction share the same legacy. |

I can see cross faction sharing - Luke/Vader I just don’t see how my Twilek is going to share the last name as my Human Trooper, or my Miraluka Consular, or my Marialan Knight. Good that you say I can turn that off for some characters. |

lol, I should mess with you some but that would be cruel. X2 you helped my Smuggler the other day. My Trooper is the one who got his Legacy. |

http://www.swtor.com/media/trailers/dev ... acy-system There is a good video about legacy in the latest Developer Dispatch on the official TOR site. Among the changes is the ability to create a family tree, create new characters with abilities from your previous characters, unlocking race combinations and other goodies like a mailbox on your ship.
