| Post subject: | RIFT Grouping TONIGHT on Gnarlwood |
Avian is going to host a RIFT grouping this Sunday night from 9pm to Midnight (Eastern) on Gnarlwood. For players not involved in last weekends Group: The plan is for it to be for New Defiant toons. If you are interested then please pre-roll your toon and reply here with your toons name and class prior to the event. I will cross-post any toon info I have from the other forums here as early as possible as well to help people choose their class. For those who grouped with us last weekend: We will be meeting up at Ark of the Ascended with the same toons we used last weekend. We will focus on rounding out our characters, tackling any Rifts that pop up, and starting on the quests in that zone. We will then meet on Gnarlwood in the Starting Zone at level 1 (see below for who to contact in-game) When you get in-game send a message to the appropriate group leader listed below for group status and to join up. Group Leader list: Ark of the Ascended group: GuiJanItor Starting zone group: TBA Character List GuiJan_Itor, aka Robert - GuiJanItor: Warrior (Paladin) Not Confirmed - Skotticus (TCO) - Kesh: Warrior Not Confirmed - Angelus (Avian) - N/A Not Confirmed - Dragon Fire (Avian) - N/A Frezenzy (Scomplink) - Belloch: Rogue (Nightblade) Depending on internet issues I will update this list in the next couple of hours. |

So, as expected last minute notice doesn't work too well. But Deak and I did get a chance to run a newb toons all the way to level 10 in a couple hours. Highlight of the night below, Deak showing how great he is at picking applicable names for his toons.

It's got to just be the Sunday Night crowd causing too much load shifting. I liked the idea of Sundays, and it will probably still be the best, but we may need to consider a different time of day for it if the lag continues. However, to tell the truth, the lag is only happening for me in the starter zone, so it really may just be a moot point. Anyway, I'll be posting either later tonight or tomorrow night about this Sunday, but we will definitely have a grouping, so mark your calenders. Any suggestions for changes are completely welcome. I know this is in it's infant stages but I'm wanting this to become a larger scale grouping where we can hit the large Raids. |
