I suspect the in-game voice assets will be installed on your machine via the purchased game media along with all the other game assets, such as art 3D models and textures. The only way in which your bandwidth would likely be affected is if they have in-game VOIP.
As the saying goes, just my 0.02 credits.
Following what you're saying then the game is gonna take up atleast 15 GB on the initial realease, going higher with more quests through patches and expansion packs...
Although 15 gigs isn't that much nowadays...
Now I have worked with 3D for some time now so I know that a 3D-model of a humanoid with a medium number of polygons without texture takes up about 3 to 10 megs. With amny or all of the models in the game it'll count upwards. While I would believe the main bulk of the texture comes from DirectX 9.0c library the might be a number of textures compressed on the harddrive. Presuming one of those compressed file contain textures for about 30 models it'll prob take up about 20 megs for each file...
The sound bit are fair. Background music is just like any other mp3. Between 5-10-15 megs for each musicfile depending on length and/or quality.
The basic soundeffects which, usually lasts around 1 second (for the majority) to 10 seconds for some of them, doesn't take much space... but the quest explanations which could last up to a minute or even more (although the explaing will probably be cut up to three for four segments) with take up between 3 and 10 megs... again depending on length and quality....
I dunno why I just wrote this but I had to get it out of my system... I'm currently insomniac for 36th hour in a..... something... dang foreighn language...
Anywho..
Goodnight. I'm off to sleep...
