Im done for this week. Im ahead by only 10 points with 2 players on the Hawkbats (Jackson(RB), Wilkins(K) both for StL) playing on monday. Can The Hawkbats pull out this win? Will this be the stop of the Crits 4 game winning streak? Check back here after the game for the boxscore.

Do you have that live scoring thing? I'm hoping this is the week of my steady, loss-free comeback.

This is gonna be a close one! A mediocre at best RB who has 19 pts all season and Wilkens who's a fairly solid kicker. I need 10 pts. Think it'll happen? :D

Atl, 8.50

.04 points!
I asked last week that everyweek should be a close game and I got just that! Coming into Monday nights game I was ahead by only 10 points. It was a long, tough game to watch seeing Jackson and Wilkins slowly trickle in the points. With the whole week coming down to a Wilkins FG from 42 yrds, which he missed. Great game Talon!

I made some pretty bad moves as to who I should start. I had 60 points  on my bench Sunday, the most ive ever had, and nobody can beat Dante
I can not express how much fun this week was for me, this is what I love about the AFL. Hope everyone is having as good a time as I am. Good luck to everyone in the next week!

I cant wait for the rematch, maybe you will get your revenge sooner than you think (playoffs). But we still have a ways to go in this season, and anything can happen.

Week 7 starts in about 14 hours and what a week its shaping up to be. All the teams still have a chance to make the playoffs so dont let your players sit the bench, get them out on the field.

Im taking on The Slackers this week and its looking like a good match-up, but we will see. We both are done Monday night so look for the boxscore right after the game.

Again, I have Statracker so msg me if you want a 'live' update on your score. Good luck to all the owners.

Yikes! He and the rest of the Falcons had a horrible day in KC. I was lucky to escape with a field goal and PAT from their kicker. Im not sure what I would do if I had Vick, every week he could break out but he hasnt been consistent so far.

I would try and trade around and see what you can get, the trade deadline is coming up Nov 11 I think so you gotta work as quickly as possible if you want to try and get rid of the Vick Experience.

Grats! McNabb had a great day, I love it when Sunday just goes perfectly, like a touchdown every 10min

This kills me!! I've got another one coming down to Monday Night! The Durnis are close enough that I think they'll pull off the win against me though. They've got 3 players that play tonight. All mine are done already.

Barring an earthquake that topples the stadium, I've lost again.

Week 7
The Criticals vs. The Slackers

The Criticals (6-1-0)
Total: 97.46
Leaders:
Walker, 18.60
Jackson, 17.80
SEA, 15.00

The Slackers (2-5-0)
Total: 79.31
Leaders:
Smith, 16.03
McMichael, 13.20
Two Players tied at 11.95

The only thing I can say about my team this week is that I didnt have any players on my bench out preform my starters. I just like to see it when I dont make any 'wrong' choices, even if I do loose.

I didnt see too many upsets this week if any. We also just passed the mid-way of the regular season. Remember, our Playoffs start the 15th Week of the NFL season.

Also, please remember that the trade deadline (November 19, 2004) is quickly aproaching so you'll want to start making those trades. Good luck to all the owners in the 2nd half of the season.

This game is wild.

I'm in 15th place but I have the 5th highest point total.

Just bad luck I guess...or everyone just has their best week against me.

You might just do it this week. I got to at least get 20 points ahead of you by the end of tonight to be comfortable since you got Morris and Chambers playing on Monday. I havent been able to watch any games today so Im not sure what the problem is...

Yup, its gonna come down to Monday night. If Lloyd catchs one TD I feel comfortable, but right now that doesnt look like its happening. Man, but what a large scoring day, 2 teams with 130+ and 5 teams with 100+, lots of points today, good luck to everyone in these next 2 games.

If there is any week that I could loose it is Week 9. I have 3 players, including 2 WRs out due to injuries and byes. Bossman has a really good chance to stop the streak this week, but only time will tell. Good luck to everyone this Sunday and Monday night "shoot-out."

This is another crazy week for the Hawkbats, facing the 1-7 Dragons. Coming into Monday night, the Dragons have all but brought in the proverbial Fat Lady. With more than a 60 point deficit, it seems hopeless for the struggling Hawkbats. But wait....could it be?? Let's take a second to analyse..

Monday night's matchup is Indianapolis against Minnesota. Everyone knows that Culpepper is downright brutal and more than able to come up with 40+ points on a good night. Add that to the fact that Indianapolis has given up more yards through the air than almost any team in the NFL, and you have a combination that just may help the Hawkbats' cause enough to justify a spark of hope.

Then lets look at the RB situation for both teams. The Hawkbats and Dragon are both starting Backup RBs from the Vikings. With their normal starter out for the game with a sprained ankle, one of these Backs will get the start and the majority of the carries. If Smith gets the start for the Vikings, and can put up some large numbers, the Hawkbats just might still be in the running.

Lastly, the Hawkbats also start the TE from Indianapolis. If the Minnesota defense can contain and put pressure on Indy's QB, it may force him to go to running screens and draws, giving the TE more touches than usual against the tough Minnesota Defense. Don't count the Hawkbats out of this one yet.

(I should work for ESPN.com)

They have a show "Dream Job"? give it a try.

Then again that southern twang will have to go...you have to have a fairly nrutral accent doing primetime shows.

The Criticals vs. The Bossmenagain

The Criticals (8-1-0)
Total: 116.18
Leaders:
Plummer, 33.45
Burleson, 17.83

The Bossmenagain (4-5-0)

Barlow, 11.25

The Vikings production has really stalled with the loss of Moss. I would reccomend to anyone with Vikings players might want to think twice before starting any players until Moss gets back, at least thats what Im thinking I will do.

Next week is gonna be tough for me. Plummer is on a bye week after posting 84 points in just 4 weeks. Right now im starting Delhomme in hopes he can rise above injuries for just one game, good luck to all the owners. during crunch time.

New high score for this season and a personal best. I really would like to see alot more action with the teams. Other than that everything is fine. Kinda late, need sleep so I hope this makes sense. Good luck to the owners who check their teams   Only a few weeks left in the season and everyone can still make it in the playoffs.

Coming into the home stretch here. We got 2 games left before the playoffs start in Week 15. Davnis and myself have already clinched playoff spots but im sure some other teams have also. Remember, the top 8 teams make it into the playoffs so even if you have a loosing record you can make it in, just keep on working with your team. Also, please do not give up on your team and drop your players, we had a small problem with this last year and it wasnt pleasent. Good luck to everyone in Week 13!

I was incorrect abotu clinching playoff spots. It still seems only the top two teams have clinched so there are still 6(!) teams trying to get into the playoffs, so dont loose hope.

Let the playoffs begin!

After a 2 week lull (I lost pretty much all interest to be honest) but I have had exams and bigger things on my mind. Now that the playoffs are here I can write up something fun. The playoffs this year are:

The Criticals
vs.
Romsuiag's Rancors

The Bossmenagain
vs.
Arindel's Airmen

The Commandos
vs.
Steelers Nostalgia

Davnis Durnis
vs.
The Hawkbats

Congrats to everyone on a great regular season. We had some laughs, shed some tears and all, I hope, had a great time watching some football. Heres to everyone on a great league. Cheers!
