I enjoyed making a profit while basically chatting and moving my ship from time to time to another asteroid to mine. I also got a lot of good info. I wish I would have kept track of how much money we made. I know it probably wasn't a lot for you guys, but for me it was very nice.

Heh, I remember when Moge first took me out mining and after two hours of it he sent me half a million ISK. Zoinks!

Glad to have you in the group. Moge and I spent a bit more time trying out different types of Ore, and we think going back to Veldspar is going to be a most profitable use or our time/energy (when you count in travel times).

Veldspar? Isn't Scorite (or whatever the stuff we were mining last night is called) better?

Or is it because we can pull in a lot more Veldspar in a shorter period of time?

Exactly. We timed how much of Plag, Scordite, and Veld we pulled in each hour. Veld was just a hair less than Scord, but when you take into account all the trouble fo finding a good spot and not running into mining competition, we think this is the best overall choice.

Yeah, that makes sense. Plus, there is really no need to jump to another system to get Veld.

Yep, we mined the same area without moving our ships at all for almost 2 hours lastnight. We made maybe 100-200k less than we would have if we mined Scordite but with Scordite we would have moved many many times. So in the end, we thing we come out ahead, at least for now, mining Dense and Cond Veld.
