Last week I read all about the bloodlines. I will read them again tonight, but I would also like to know what race you guys are, and why you choose them.

LOL, I chose Minmatar because I really didn't know what I was doing, but I thought a character that looked like a badass Lenny Kravitz would be cool . They are the race that separated from the Amarr slave loving empire.

A lot of people prefer the Gallente or Caldari ships though from a trading perspective (Iteron hauler for example) so that may influence your opinion.

In the end you can always train up another races ship line although it will slow you down. As has been stated before, whatever race you do start with, select the attributes during character creation that give you Frigate skills to save you a bit of time.

most of us are Caldari or Gallente. In the end it really doesn't matter. We all hang around Gallenta space atm though. Worst case you spend your first few hours making a long 15jump journey to join up with us. That is what I did since im Caldari.

Miners or haulers I would say Gallente although Amarr has the 'best' (note the quotes) end game battleship that can be used for mining. Gallente has the 'best' end-game hauler. Caldari is often said to have some of the best fighting craft. Again, all very speculative and you can train up any races skills at anytime.
