Moge will have Refining V by Friday at 5pm. He will then have about 24 hours or so of training to get specializations going.

To refine even more effectively I need to gain Corp Faction with the owners of the stations. Right now I have a station in Mies and in Aice planned. Both have the same Corp. Federation Administration.

Im currently working on faction and could use your help. If you can do any missions for Federation Administration it will help me out greatly. The more that that Corp like our Corp the more faction everyone gets after each mission.

At 1.0 faction they only take 4%, 2.0 3% etc etc. Im hoping to get 1.0 by Sunday but I would like to get 2.0 or greater to further increase our takes on refining.

Since Moge will probably be the resident refiner for a while any help anyone can offer would be great.

Federation Admin agents can by found in Mies, Algogile and many other areas.

Also the agent standings for the agents at that station effect your %. Standings with higher level agents are of course better.

Connections skill helps too! I gain far more in faction standing from training connections for 8hrs than 4 days worth of doing missions!

Do a little work for me. Find me an agent of your corp that is 16 Qual or better and grants 90% combat missions and I'll move homes.

Agreed. Let us know where, and we'll go there and suck up to the agents, baby!

Though, I think you can just find any agent of "Federation Admin" then look at their info, then click on their corp, then get a list of all agents of that corp and their locations.... but it'd be easier to list which ones you'd like us to hit and where.

In Algogille IV Moon 3 there are 3 agents.
lvl 1 q -16 Public Relations (34% 66%)
lvl 1 q 0 Admin (50% combat 50% courier)
lvl 2 q 2 Admin (50% combat 50% courier)

There are many more agents around for Fed Admin. I'll take a better look around later. I know Aice is all Lvl II agents as it Mies.

Aice II has a low quality level 1 agent and a high quality level 3.

Jurlesel has a couple level 1s and a decent quality level 2.

These are all Fed Admin.

I will try to get on next break at work and do some serious looking around. I don't want a 50-50 agent. I want combat missions.

Also I have raised the faction with Republic Security Services quite a bit. Do they have some place you could refine with little wastage?

Cool. I'm going to bump my social up to 3 so I can get that, too.

Too bad I'm such an ugly bastard, or I'd be learning these charisma skills much faster.

I already have connections 3. It's a fantastic skill to learn.

The connections skill is great. It raises all your standings with every corporation and agent that you have any positive standing with.

This skill is extreamly worth the investment is you want to gain standing.

Also grab as many levels of the social skill as you can. This increases the amount of standing you earn per mission.

If you want to get more money per mission get the negotiation skill

If you want to improove your standing with agents or corporations you have negative standing with you use the criminal connection skill. (I think that's what it's called)

does connections raise your collective standings with each level or just the initial level?
Sometimes its hard to tell when it doesn say 'with each level'. I assume it does, just haven't tested it.

Connections raises you standing by 0.4 for each level. For example, I have Connections 3 so each of my positive standings have been increased by 1.2.

(I think it's 0.4, not sure though)

wow, so technically speaking if you do just 1 or 2 missions and almost immediately qualify for lvl II missions.

I have 11 hours till I get Refining Effeciency III - I already have my Veld, Scord, Plag mineral refining skills to II - so after that I'll be at 100%. With Connections III and Social III I should be able to only have a 3% loss with Fed Admin.

very nice.

It's a % of your base standing. If you have connections then open your charactersheet and look under standings. It will show you your base level and your adjusted level with connections.
