Before I upgraded to Firefox 2.0, I was able to 'submit' forum posts with an <alt>-S. Now, that opens the History menu. :(

I've looked through the options and haven't found anything. Does anyone know off the top of their head a way to change how keyboard shortcuts work? Cuz it's a real shame that I actually have to take my hands off the keyboard to submit a post.

I didn't even know such a shortcut existed. The reason the History menu opens is because the menu bar entry for Histry has "s" underlined indictating that Alt+s is the shortcut for opening it. I'm guessing they didn't have that in the menu pre-2.0 (I've been using 2.0 for a long time so I can't remember how it was before).

I'm afraid to say that there's probably not way to get around it. =\

pfft quiet you!!

Opera can do it, although it needs a short little piece of javascript as it seems to be the only command not on the list... and it's a big list.
