I'm looking for a little help from the Avian crew in finding a mother board.

I'm shopping early and I'm not positive such a mobo even exists. That said, here are the specs I'm looking for:
  • Socket 775
  • Support for at least 4 GB ram (at least DDR2)
  • 1066 FSB minimum (I want 1333 if at all possible)
  • 2x PCI-E slots
  • Crossfire support
  • 2x PCI slots that are still available when the Crossfire PCI-E slots are filled (in many cases, you lose one or two regular PCI slots when the PCI-E slots are filled)
  • SATA support (this is practically standard on most mobos)
  • RAID 0, 1 support (this is practically standard on most mobos)
  • My preference for brands are ABIT and ASUS, in that order but as far as I can tell, neither company has such an offering
I don't really care about onboard LAN, video or sound features - I would prefer to use none of them. I'd like to specify preferences for chipsets but at this point, I'd just be happy with knowing if such a combination exists. From my research thus far, finding a board with PCI and PCI-E arrangements such that a fully utilized Crossfire configuration (2 filled PCI-E slots) leaves at least two PCI slots available. I need them for my Killer NIC and sound card.

Thanks for any help you can give!

I just ordered this board last week.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131073

It's not here yet so I can't give you a review of the board but I think it does everything you want.

Nice board!

What SLI cards are you going with? I'm looking at a Radeon so I need a Crossfire mobo.

that's the board i use as well. One thing to note if you go corsair memory ....the board only recognizes 800MHZ memory at the 667 setting and 32 bit operating systems will only recognize 3.3 Gigs if use 4 GB

I just went with a Nvida 8800GTS card. I may look at adding a second card later but not right away.

I got the machine assembled last night. Hopefully I will be running on it tonight. I have not had time to really tweek it yet but I'll have more details after the weekend. :D

And I found the motherboard I've been looking for!

I'm pretty sure I'll put it in this case. It's roomy, it's unique, it's shiny! 8)
