i was thinking you were gonna have a bad morning DF. some of the picks, at the time they were made, were just weird. but you got the best player in the game today (Payton) so, not too bad :)

First game is Thursday night, NO v. IND so...

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE IN WEEK 1!

they were very odd because at the time i set it they were set more by position for my reference on draft day because i was sure i could make it...so the vast majority were wayyy early or late...no RB till like 6+

im impressed though despite that my QB is good, receivers are decent, RB are okay and defensively im pretty set...will see though with only 12 teams what once was a dream team is now par

Well I knew I'd miss it but I'm happy enough with my club. Good luck to all, except of course the team I'm playing. :)

Just part of their internet should only be used for work purposes...blah blah blah

40 points has to be close to the record for single player performance...

You have to love that I have the 2nd lowest point total of all teams and I'm ahead going into tonight's game. Probably comes down to the kickers unless TJ lights it up against a very good Raven's D.

tough loss deak, it seems like there were alot of close games ending last night with the double header MNF.

of course, none of them were as close as The Crits vs. Hawkbats in '04. Talon's team loss by .03 points, if I remember correctly in a MNF game at STL and Jeff Wilkins missed a long field goal attempt that would have put them past my team.

This is the origin of the Section 6 Showdown which will be relived in Week 2 8)

good start everyone, I see alot of people active, picking up wavier wire players and seeking trades so... whoohooo.

ohhhh yeah.. It's on this week. The Hawkbats are out for blood after putting up almost 98 points and still taking a loss in week one. And they DO still remember the heartbreaking .03 points. All the Hawkbat players will wear a commemorative ".03" on their sleaves for this matchup.

I had 2 receivers who totaled a big fat zero points, that's evil. Even worse, I started them.

somehow managed a win, but points do count.

it just wouldn't be a S6 Showdown if it didn't come down to the wire. R. Brown of Philly needs to score just 2.41 points tomorrow night to win it for Talon.

So... congrats to Talon this year :)

I like that every week so far there seems to be close games all over our league so yes, the competitive balance is fair :)

My team really seems to suck badly.

Thankfully, I have another league where I have a fantastic team so far :)

If I recall, I think I felt pretty confident last year too.

Watch Brown break his leg on the first play or something.

Made a couple changes... we'll see how it plays out next week against Gophers.

Crits seem to like suspense!! Is Bush gonna pull this one out for you?

No!

I need less than 6.28 from Bush for a win in this league, but I need more than 2 for a win in my other league.

2 < Reggie Bush < 6.28 = Happy Mole

It's a close race so don't give up on your teams. Looking forward to see who can seperate themselves from the pack before the playoffs.
