/sigh Stupid foosball games, I just can't get into them. Although the "superstar mode" sounds fairly interesting.

I'll tell you though, I strongly suggest picking up NHL 08 next year when its price is like $10. Heck, even at that price Mads, the non-hockey fan he is, can't go wrong. Best sports game I have played in a long time, nearly ever.

In fact, I am tempted to start a new dynasty (10 seasons) and create all of you guys as players (with fairly similar stats). Would be interesting to see over the course of the seasons who gets picked up by the better teams and who has the more "successful" career.

The idea just popped into my head. Damn that's brilliant!!

I played Right Wing and then Center on PKs. Smaller, on the faster side, somewhat chippy (may have been a Napoleon complex thing), good passer, horrible shooter.

Speedy, lighter weight, aggressive/good checking, below average shooting ability, low penalty resistance, PLAYMAKING right winger it is.

What do you think, make Mads a Boogaard-like player?

Mads is way too easy going to be Boogaard-like. Make him Sam Gagner-like. Lots of potential but still very young.

And Crod should be like that drunk guy in Slapshot. Wish I could remember his name.

Azz, I don't get the reference though maybe I should?

Mighty Duck. A disney hockey family movie. Goldberg is the goalie, who is fat, loves food and has a tendency to fart at the worst moment.

Madsons canadian game history

In highschool lacrosse I played defense during my freshman and sophmore years and midfield during my junior and senior years.

I'm 6'2", 183lbs and I've always been one of the faster members of the teams I've been on. I had a one of the faster shots (55-65 mph) but I wasn't accurate under pressure.

My right hand (Main Hand) stick skills and were about average for a the league, my left hand abilities were a little worse than average.

I would crack the normal amount of heads, but I wasn't overly agressive and I never trash talked.

I don't play lacrosse anymore, but I still run a few times a week, my most recent 5k is about 24min.

Perhaps I should stop drinking...or at least tell you that I havn't had any....I feel that I'm getting pushed in a perception of being perpetually drunk....

I don't think I've ever watched any of the Movies, but I think the team was "based" in Minnesota. Correct?

Who are these people I'm being referred to? Real hockey players?

BTW it was like 82 degrees here yesterday. (28 for those of you using a logical method of temperature measurement)

Sam Gagner is one of the new Oiler draft picks (was #6 overall this past summer) and is doing very well in his rookie year thus far. One of my fav Oilers atm actually.

Boogaard plays for GoG's beloved Wild. Pure goon type player with very little in the way of real hockey skills (at least that's my perception of him from highlights I have seen).

I checked last night and I can't create new players and add them to the Free Agents list in my current dynasty. So, once I finish my current season (just wanna win the cup playing nearly all 82 games in the season) I will start a new dynasty with y'all in there.

Oh and I found Guitar Hero 3 on PS3 for my brother for xmas!!!! He is gonna go nuts when he opens it! Of course I'll have to open it early to ensure the controller works (and not just cause I am anxious to see the game, but because if there is a problem I can hopefully get a new one before xmas hits).

Mads - are you planning on getting it for 360? It is on my list, pretty sure I'll be getting it. It has 2P online co-op play.

Honestly, if I get it, it will only be for the wireless guitar, and even then I really like the Rock Band Strat a lot more. The effects are lame, but the upper octave buttons are nice for the "big rock finishes" as they allow you to play faster.

I'm goin through the careers in GH2. This stuff is hard. I'm about halfway through the medium setting. I tried the hard and can't get half way through a song without failing. I'm going to have to work up to it I guess.

Yup. The movies was a sort of promovation for the Anaheim mighty duck who were also owned by disney until a couple of years ago.

Good family movies.
A bunch of cra* teen players with a coach who is a lawyer working on his DUI through (what is it "samfundstjeneste" is called in english?) community service.
Becomming one of the best teams and so on and on and on
