Are any of you guys playing Battleground Europe

My friend have been playing for a while and he is sort of recruiting...
Anyway it is a relatively realistic MMO-FPS and it is based on WW2 and the allied side is lacking troops.

It is oftenly rumored that the dev team are giving the axis a egde through technological means that doesn't exactly fit into the real world...

Anyway new and young players often find the axis side too strong for them to fight so they join them and bolster that side, so the allies are mostly age 25+ and very good players who aren't afraid of helping newbs.

The games is difficult so the client version of the game offer a off-line, singleplayer (no npc at all) training area where you can teach yourself the different vehicles and weapons in the game...

Please give a mention of it or atleast try a trial...
If possible if you're trying it out please tell which group/batallion/squadron you're playing and your tag, so we can find you...

Wow isn't that game seriously old? It was out pre-swg IRC? It was essentially the predecessor of Planetside.

Never really gave it a try, but I did enjoy planetside

Well even though it is old it still got a loyal playerbase. Also it has been heavily updated during the five-six years it's been up.

And if you should ever try it don't fall for the "Alt+F4" command... If you don't know a specific command for a equipment and ask for it they'll tell you this...

Humor them if you'd like or just say "I've heard about this.."

Most things happening in this game is player controlled. Like the high command that takes care of the overall strategy is mostly players who have been elected by other players...

I've tried it a few time, but because of the lag I have from greenland I just played as a cargoplane with paratroopers...
