YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

But it was a tough game to watch. i think Branch should have been MVP, but Tom must look better of camera . Still he engineered 2 last minute drives and played it tough.

Honestly, I actually wouldn't have minded if the Panthers won, I was kind of neutral, hehe. It was a really good game though! :)

For some reson this is the only thing about the whole game that made news in Germany. I don't even know (or care) how the game ended, but that little star...

well, I agree with Flyoc

Bah...that was as intentional as the release of Paris Hilton's naughty video. Hilton's insipid reality show did quite well and that had a lot to do with the publicity surrounding her and that sorry little video. Same thing with Jackson...she's gotta take some heat off little brother. Or am being I too cynical? :P

Quite true. Maybe she was just feeling left out and not getting enough attention :P

I missed Janet Jackson's show :(

But what about THEM PATRIOTS!
This wasn't the superbowl game people thought it would be. Did any of you non-Pat/non-Cat fans enjoy the game?

At first I thought MJ meant Michael Jordan, as a Chicago native maybe that's what DF thought too.

(They mean Michael Jackson.)

She looks unimaginably close to what he looked like, before his plastic surgery face self-destructed. If you you have a pic of him and her from before his hell-face, they are the same face. The nose is the same, the eyes are the same, the cheeks and chin, everything. I think they modeled his new face on hers.

Cetera had it right - she looks more like nature made MJ than he does himself now...

Well I can say that the news about Janet's tit also came up here to Greenland. So it is worldwide for sure.
They covered it for two whole minutes, but the results of the game came as a small final note like: "....and the game ended with Patriots as the victors."

They didn't even think about the itself.

Hmm... so you propose that she might walk around with a silver star pinned to her nipple all the time?

MSNBC wrote:
Janet Jackson has now admitted that her breast baring at the Super Bowl was more than just a “wardrobe malfunction.” But even before Jackson apologized for the incident, there were hints that it was hardly the accident Jackson and Justin Timberlake claimed.

Before the Super Bowl, Jermaine Dupri, Jackson’s boyfriend, was telling people that the singer was going to do something sexually explicit, according to an insider. “He was saying, ‘Don’t watch the halftime concert unless you want to see something very R-rated,’ ” says the source.

Dupri’s spokeswoman didn’t return calls and his agent’s office told The Scoop, “No comment.”

Meanwhile, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann reported last night that two sources, one in television entertainment and one in television sports, say that long before the Super Bowl, they were informed that “Janet Jackson’s breast — or breasts — would be bared, briefly,” during the halftime show.

What’s more, MTV’s own Web site quoted Jackson’s choreographer, Gil Duldulao, saying that there would be “some shocking moments” in her Super Bowl performance. That comment has now been removed from the Web site, and MTV, which produced the show, has apologized.

See? I should be cynical about our so-called entertainers. /puke

I hate Hollywood and almost all of the entertainment industry.

http://cakili.image.pbase.com/image/25810291.jpg !

I was told that because of this unexpected "event", there will be no more live show anymore in the US, everything will be broadcasted with a 5 min lag (goodbye Michal Moore speechs !). Is this true ?

I think it's a 5 second lag .. like they already do on most radio talk shows.

yea its accually just like seconds worth of lag..just enough to get that bleep, or cut to another scene/view in the case of the half time show
