Does this seem like my account should be canceled to you and that I shouldn't have access it today? To me I would think it was valid until 5/1/2004.

You should be able to access it until May 1st.

It is written in TH speak and therefore confusing.

You will loose access on May 1 2004, meaning the last day you can log into that account will be April 30 2004.

That's kinda what I thought anyhow, but I can't access my account today, which I don't get from any of that information. I sent a message to the support account, but I'll probably have to wait for standard business hours for any response.

Yet another way that SOE customer service sucks, and yet another reason to stay away from this game. In all honesty, after everything I keep reading, I don't know that I'll ever play SWG again. That kinda saddens me, because I had some great times playing the game. But man, there are so many negatives to it.

Yes they seem to have reactivated it. After an email that got sent to support. But, they shouldn't be terminating logins early. Very bad for business, especially, when your goal is to get them to come back

Yes, an account should never ever ever ever ever be terminated early. Late is always acceptable, early never is. Not for something like this.

To add my beef to the “an account should” mix:

An account should be unique and the belongings of the account should be impenetrable by outsiders. Not one, not twice but a total of three time I have a character on my server with my exact name… allowing those characters access to all my structures, all my items, all my communications.

I am not the only one suffering this problem. So when Cetera or myself have negative things to say about the Devs, or come off harsh about the game, realize that the game has seriously let us down.

It takes a lot to turn a HUGE fan into a jaded fan. I would not wish that on any of you.

The whole reason I originally started participating in this thread is because I know a little bit about canceling accounts. Instead of waiting three months for my third multiple Cyrus situation to be resolved, I canceled my Cyrus account and told the CS my account would not be activated again until the problem was fixed. I would not wait like I had to the last time.

They fixed the problem very fast this time.
