6. Explain why Avian is the right PA for you. How do we meet your needs?
As a dedicated PA with many crafting outlets, I have almost never not been able to find what I was looking for in as far as equiptment goes. For me this is a huge plus in convience. Plus of the members I've met and gotten to know, you seem like a pleasant bunch.
7. Please describe how your character will earn a 'living' in SWG, what can you contribute to Avian, and in particular what skills or profession will you be focusing on?
My main living capabilities will be through Missions and dungeons as a TKM. Add on to that the possibility of my Creature Handling sales (should I find this an enjoyable job and continue to persue it) for an additional income.
My main contribution will be the vicious cycle of me earning my hard-earned credits and then handing those hard-earned credits over to you in exchange for needed goods. Also the ability to help crafters persue into dungeons such as the new corvette and death watch bunker to protect them as they craft the new hard to create items.
My profession choices as stated earlier above is TKM, then possibly CH, and most definately Jedi Master once publish 10 has gone live. Come the expansion my second slot will possibly be a dedicated shipwright depending how the final version of the profession turns out.
8. Avian desires to remain a neutral PA, and as such will avoid many forms of PvP combat. If you have chosen to take on a combat oriented character, describe how you will fit in to a mainly non-combat PA. What services will you provide to Avian members and how do you wish to be rewarded for your services?
As stated above the vicious cycle of me giving you my credits for stuff. Helps keep the non combat oriented character in business since I am very rough on my armor and weapons (I have never had a piece repaired, i just junk it and buy new pieces).
Services provided are as above mentioned, helping non combat orientated crafters enter the areas in the new dungeons necc. for them to persue the harder to make items, my hard earned money keeping them in business, and overall nice guy to be around. ^_^
As far as reward for my services, enjoying the game comes foremost, and the occasional scratch my back and I'll scratch yours approach to the game works well for me.
9. What are your long and short-term goals?
Short term goals are TKM, CH, Expansion, Shipwright, being a baddass pilot.
Long term goals include being a badass pilot, obtained Jedi-hood, and climbing the ranks of the Jedi. And of course enjoying the game.
10. Please Take a moment to tell how you found Avian.I originally became aware of Avian before and during beta for SWG when I was checking out the new guilds. Having been involved in beta (early phase 3 till the end), I became a bit jaded that it was released so early and buggy.
I was recently asked to try it again (about a month or so ago) and was give the game as a birthday gift. The game has gone through vast improvements since release, is enjoyable, and the expansions really makes me excited.
Through the person who brought me back to the game (Natkai Tuorn) I came in contact with Avian again and have met a few of its members who I find pleasant and helpful.
11. Why have you chosen Avian over other PAs you have considered or previously belonged to and which PAs were they?
Avian doesn't force me to choose a side in the GCW and provide excellent quality services and goods that has made my journey much easier than it could of been. The people are friendly and mature, and it appears to be a nicely assembled group of people.
I haven't belonged to another PA in SWG before.
12. What would you change and/or add to the Charter? Why?
One change I would possibly suggest for the Charter is an additional department for the upcoming expansion, a "Space" department as it were. Perhaps to organize group missions as a guild, orgainze and maintain squadrons (not control, ppl like to feel diverse, just help organize groupings with other sqaudrons etc,) and perhaps even organize raid attacks on other faction orientated squadrons (dogfights, etc).
The other suggestion i would perhaps make is a rework of the FAQ for it seems some of it may now be outdated since SWG is now released and has had many changes. One part that comes to mind is that you can have both Imperal and Rebel faction people in the same guild. (least you can from my understanding).
Thank you for your time in reviewing my application and may I prove to be a worthy addition to your guild.
