Not done with AIT yet, and I get my orders on where my first duty station is. Yup, Im going to Korea. So, I was wondering has anyone here been there or know any information about Korea? Im going to a Camp Humphreys (sp?) if anyone knows about thaat place.

I leave Dec 13 so I'm going to experience Christmas in Korea.

Im in Ft Riley at the moment, and there are some guys here who have been to Korea. I will ask around for you and let you know what they have to say. One thing I do know is that you can get an uber suit made cheaply.

Thanks for all the help. Ya, I heard that in Korea stuff is a lot cheaper especially electronics, but I hadn't heard that suits were cheap.

I am on leave in Ohio atm, so itll take me a few days to get back with you. Someone else told me that you can pay a Korean lady to clean your Barracks room (including pressing uniform and shining boots) for pretty cheap!

Yes ive been there a few times to teach their navy and army guys CBR. The story of really cheap dry cleaning, room cleaning is very true, and of course there are some other perks that come with that as well. But my biggest recomendation is ONLY drink bottle water but the country side is great (really green) Although study up on the many customs.. Who knows may see you there some time..
