Heads up. With the impending onset of Autumn, it's time to start thinking about producing the 2005 Galaxy Girls and Galaxy Guys calendars.

Here's how we do this thang.


You go out and take some nice photos of your character. By "nice", I mean "sexy". Check out last year's calendars for ideas (look in the left column for the links). Interesting places, interesting clothing, interesting positions, stuff that is eye catching are more likely to get you into the calendar, because let's face it, everyone's avatar is hawt, not just yours. You gotta go the extra mile.

Some guidelines:

# Please take snapshots without the UI. Hit Shift-Ctrl-H to remove the HUD (and hit it again to get it back) . Hit 'Printscreen' to take a photo, the image should end up in your SWG folder.
# Take photos at as high a resolution as you can.
# Do NOT doctor the photos. That's my job.
# Try to turn up your graphics settings so the backgrounds, shadows, etc look realistic.
# Go for sexy. That full length robe might be really comfortable, but we wanna see some skin.
# You should be the focus of the photo. Not your pet, not your AV-21, not that dude in black armor that has a heavy breathing issue. You.
# All races are welcome. Don't think that just because you're a bothan or a mon cal that you cannot get in. The judges will be impartial to race.

You can submit as many photos as you wish. You can also submit entries for a "cover shot", which will typically have more than one female/male in them. The calendar has 12 months, one centerfold, a front and a back cover. That's 15 photos that will get in.

To submit your photos, you have a few options. You can dump them in an email to me at javier@furplay.com. You can upload them to your website and email me a link. What you cannot do is place them on a public area and broadcast the address. I want to place truly original photos people have not seen in the calendars. I will not respond to every email I get...email at this point is solid enough that you can trust that it got to me unless it's returned.

Make sure to tell me your character's name and server. These get placed into the photos of the calendar so that your new stalkers can find you easier.

Photos can be submitted up through October 15, for both male and female calendars. After that I'm in production in order to get them out by the new year. I'm looking into printing services so that those who want a real calendar might be able to order one, but no promises there.

Finally, spread the word. A lot of people were mad that they missed the chance to be in last year's calendars. I don't want to spam every forum out there with this announcement, so spread the word to your friends.
