Anyone remember Dungeon Keeper 1 & 2 (http://dk2.ea-europe.com/) ?
Those were both really good games.

I just spotted the new "Evil Genius" game where you take the role of the Evil Genius trying to build your base and keep out those pesky secret agents. Its about to be released and looks like fun

Ah, man...the DK series! Tons of fun there and yeah, Evil Genius looks to be fun. Any word on a demo? I spend too much on SWG anymore to buy a game w/o trying it!

Had a few "Austin Powers" moments with the 60s music and secret agent themes
I am very definately getting this!
Nice interface, easy to navigate and build. Good graphics and nice animations.
Lots of small funny details (watch how they use the interrogation chair )

Recommended!

Yah! The interrogation chair was funny- "Ow! Hee-hee". I wish there were a few more options/objects to play with but I had a good time with what they gave us.. now I want MORE.

Yup this is definately one for my ''Must buy'' list

the demo rocks.

Anybody else having problems launching the game?

Seems to be a memory hog, very jerky and hanging...

Some interesting stuff you can do with this demo:

press CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + D

Then try pressing the ~ button next to "1" to get access to the console commands

Money will give you 100k extra

Giveall will give you access to a lot more rooms and furniture

You can also enable godmode with CTRL + G or world building mode with
CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+P

Many of these options are not meant for the demo however, and may cause some strange crashes or graphic bugs. Some of the stuff works though. Like security cameras, disguised holding cells and more.

I'll dig up some more stuff to do...building larger lairs are possible in the building mode, as you can add dirt and rock to build in.
