I heard that there is no such thing as a dumb question so here goes.

Are all house floor plans the same ie. round or square, generic or Naboo? That to say is a basic floor plan the same with all of them? If not what is the difference between the three basic styles on Naboo.

I see you can place objects and move them about your house. Resource containers look to be one of these, are these just the containers from your inventory or are additional containers required? Are there secure containers so that if you allow people in they can't help themselves to things?

I wonder if what I heard applies to more than more question?

Well all of a certain type are the same yes, but a round house isn't the same as a square house. So a small style-1 Naboo house and a small style-2 Naboo house have different floor plans, but the same brick work and inside design (as in windows, carpet, doors, and so on). Including type, I think it also matters which planet it is designed for including the size. A small style-1 Tat house doesn't have the same floor plan as a small style-1 Naboo house nor the same sort of designs.

Those containers you are speaking of are just the ones from your inv.

Only those with admission rights can access containers I believe.

So, if I walk into a small round house or a small square house the inside pattern is the same, same doors, windows, terminal location, etc.?

Each planets houses (of the same size) have the same internal layout?

The outside is what is different?

The interior of the round house looks diff. from the square house. The round one has curved walls.

How about the generic house, is it any different inside than the other two?

And level two of house questions. What are the limitations on the amount of items that can be placed in a house? That is for a small one for example.

That gives me a better idea of what they are.

I wonder if the round house poses the same problems with furniture placement as does the ones in RL? Lots of wasted space in them.

I tried to find some pics and layouts at a number of places too, but couldn't find anything. That and printable city maps would be beneficial.

Ok, here you go:

All small houses have unique floorplans. Yes, the Naboo square and round both have a hall that runs down the middle and the rooms on either side, but they are still different floorplans. The hall is L shaped in the square house and T shaped in the round one.

The Generic have different floorplans than the non-generic. The Tatooine have different floorplans than the Naboo, etc.

As far as other people accessing the items you place in your house:
Nobody is able to pick up, or access, any items in your house except people you give Admin rights to. You can give someone entry or Vendor rights to your house and they will not be able to take anything. You can even make your house public so anybody can come in and they still can't take anything except what they buy from a vendor.
Currently not even people whom you've given ADMIN rights to can drop or pick-up items in your house, but that is being fixed.

I can confirm the round house being round inside with 2 rooms

I encountered one in the Keren area a while back and i rather liked it, thi i must admit its hard to find round cabinets

Dont ask me where it was tho.. its been too long ago and i was too green.

Medium Corellian houses are awful, not worh the resources, at least late in Beta that was true. It looked to me like the medium Corellian house was really just a Style 2 small, it had only a small extra hallway.

The medium Naboo houses are great.
