Finished up Q'ing 11th out of 15. I think there is little reason not risk slightly higher settings given you get nothing for 11th place or worse.

Top Qualifier in my group almost beats Talon's time with a 1:08,808!!

Qualled 6th 2nd and 1st. Roh was 3 seconds faster in quals and should win easily barring a collision or engine failure. Tobiasds qualled 6th 2 seconds slow but had settings wrong and should be very competitive. Watch out Lakine! Fred Banks was 3 and a half seconds slower in second place to an obvious sandbagger and made great improvement by saving turns to practice. He should maintain second and could win if the sandbagger crashes or misses his settings.

BTW, Anyone else want to be president? I am pres by default for starting the team. There is no way to name a new pres but if you drop out of the team the next oldest member becomes pres so I could drop and then reapply if someone else wanted to do it.

Finished 13th. Had an engine problem but I was simply outclassed.

I was 6:18 from the leader and a good minute from 10th place.

I'm gonna get crushed this time anyway. Like Icharus, it seems I've flown too high.

These guys in my group are running like 11 km/h faster than me.

Never run more than one qualifying unless you crash. This is for everyone. That extra money and turns is better spent increasing your horsepower aero etc, and training your driver. You may start back an extra half second or a few positions, but the extra 2 tenths you might run every lap for 50-75 laps will more than make up the difference. I will have settings much earlier the next time around so we can all compare numbers.

No matter what, I can seem to get faster. What is everyone's engine performance at? Im sitting at 740 PS. Should I keep adding to that, or aerodynamics or chassie. I cant seem toget my top speed over 252 on this track.

The boys at Green Team Racing suggest jacking up your drivers high speed driving. They also suggest putting money into your horsepower primarily. Make sure you have your car fine tuned (should tune itself if you practice AFTER you make improvements and not before). Speed increases are incremental remember and get tougher the further along you get.

Running 194, qualified like 10th... top qual is at 203...

Tobiasds and Fred Banks ran times that compared to others in the group looked like my guys were already exhausted.

I will make incremental improvements but I am obviously not going to make up 4 secs a lap. Roh qualled 2nd and hasn't even fine tuned his engine after the bump to 905 PS. He will be very competitive this week.


Strategy may dictate that if you are way back in quals and way slower, you should toss the race and save your car and driver for the next week. Set everything down to the lowest on your driver and just make engine and driver upgrades. After a 16th or 18th place finish you can attack next race.

Where should we begin? You will gain 500,000 a day plus a new turn every hour. The money and turns are spent increasing your cars stats. I increase the engine primarily and only got the other settings on aero and chassis to 50 % Each race concentrate on improving your driver stats primarily in threshold and high speed. Don't worry too much about fine tuning your engine stats because you will increase them just practicing. We will generally help guide each other with car settings. If you need to figure them out yourself practice only driver stats that won't increase your speed around the track alone. For instance practicing top speed could increase your lap speed messing up whether your setting change was an improvement or not. So only do things like starts and pit stops when testing for your car's settings.

Hope you got a Sunny boy when picking a driver as that extra cash really helps early on.

Mess around with it for a while and you will have more specific questions.
