I saw an story on it today, and made we wonder if anyone is still playing City of Heros here? Heard there was a new patch or expansion coming up or just past, wondered how that new content has been. I beta'd but didn't go any further then that though I did enjoy the time I got to play the game.

Marvel also is about to sue them according to this gamespot artical. I like Marvel/DC but to me they try to act as if they are the only ones who can do anything "superhero" related. At least the only ones who could make a profit from the genre. Marvel is the worst about it though. Anyone who even mentions the word "mutate" sends up some kind of flare to the suits no matter what form is used.

If the Marvel suits have their way, current character generation, or even future content to this game, or even new games in general might end up being limited because companies have to worry about stepping on the "super hero hulks" toes.

I played CoH for about 2 months, got tired of its "One Trick Pony" and moved on... kinda like I knew I would...

Lol. Marvel pretty much stole stuff from real world history, myths, stories, legends to create a lot of their characters so I can see the humor in them acting as if they are the "real creators".

Sad though that CoH didn't hold you longer (anyone else still playing?). I'm not a reall NCsoft fan, their games seem to quick fun but never last for some reason.

I must say what it did, it did very well. It just didn't do enough.

Same here - I tried it for a few months, then got tired of the constand grind (sound familiar?) It was fun, though. And I think the Evil Archtypes add-on will be pretty cool.

I am just active in CoH, but well I am waiting for the EU Release of WoW right now

CoH did the one thing they did really well.

My problem is I didn't level as fast as the people I played with (so it became a solo-type/work with bad gorups) game to me.

Once you go into the 20's the levels came to infrequent and no real bling for what you got.

Good game, just not enough depth and complexity to keep me glued for a long period of time.
