Hey everyone, I will be playing WoW over my winter break but I will still be on my crappy dial-up connection. I wanted to know a few things about the patches, like how big are they? Is there a way I can download the patches away from having WoW installed on my harddrive (I doubt it but just asking to make sure) and would it be better to use the OB client or install from the CDs to cut down on the amount of time I have to spend downloading patches. Thanks in advance guys, I will drop by and say hello once I get in-game.

The beta client had one more patch on it I believe and mine has worked flawlessly so use the beta client if you had it patched up. I believe the last patch was only about 20 mb not sure though.

Ok cool, thanks tobiasds. I thought it was about 20mbs but I wasnt sure where I got that number from. I dont have the Beta Client, so I think I will just be patchin the game from the cds. Thanks again.
