Is that based off the comic books? I've seen them around somewhere but never actually picked one up to read.

Yeah, it's based on the comic books.

But the trailer looks awesome even if you have never seen the inside of one of the books.

I was just checking.

What surprised me is all the "big name" actors/actresses I know of in the film's cast. Guess it is more common now that comic book flicks are more the rage.
