I'm only about four missions or so from Master Pilot (all the xp is sorted), and I thought I'd have another shot at going for it.
I haven't done it yet as with these last few missions you really need a bit of help, and there hasn't been too many bodies around lately to call on.

So, any pilots out there?

ive only managed to complete like the first mission of privateer since i dl'd jtls. i was stuck on some escort mission i couldnt get passed and gave up on piloting ever since (about 2 months ago). i still dont understand the whole spacefighter management/upgrade 'thing' so i just gave it up. besides grinding out my new skills keep me busy on the ground a lot. i really do like the fact that i can jump into my comfy luxury yacht and go wherever i need with minimal effort though

thanx Obbo. it is one of the very low noob level escort missions, but for some reason the freighter im supposed to escort either keeps getting too damaged to continue the journey or hijacked by the pirates no matter how hard i try to protect the dam thing lol

ive become an alliance pilot now that im back with the rebs. im still a noob, but have worked my way up to a y-wing fighter. it is much more fun than being a privateer i admit. im not stuck on pain in the ass meaningless privateer missions anymore now that ive joined the alliance. i get sent out to find and vape eyeballs for the rebellion!! what fun!

I managed to get past my mission solo, and am now 3444. But on the next mission I really need help.

On the third leg there is a space battle. On my side (CorSec) there is a Gunboat (Imperial version), two Firesprays and two A-Wings (I think, could be one).
On there other side (BlackSun), there are two Gunboats (rebel version) and about four fighters (at least thats all I managed to see).

The BlackSun jumped in right in front of me and before I knew it my shileds were gone. I managed to take out one of the fighters but didn't last long after that.
Some heavy hitting bombers are needed to take out those gunboats. And with two of them side by side it would be a lot harder, as you can't simply take out the guns at one end and use it's hull as a screen as the other ship will take you out.

Maili and her flying Tank are up for it. Although Getting her past her mission first might help out a bit.
She is 3332 with enough XP get get 4333 just need to pass the two missions. However. I am game just to try yours. Im on tonight and tomorrow day if you want to try it.
