You gotta love English, a language with a word for the act of being thrown through a window - "defenestration" (ok, so its originally a french word :P )

Most of these are derived from latin though so it's not strictly english!

There is a book sold over here that lists the fancy names of over a thousand different phobias. I believe it's called something like "The encyclopeadia of phobias"!
