I could see this for Episode I, as it was the first Star Wars movie in like 16 years, with a huge following. But at some point, things like this cross the line into lame, ultralame, uberlame, and shoot-on-sight.

This movie will be big because it should be the last one.... But GL damaged the brand when Ep1 was released with such poor dialogue, childish plot mentality, boring sets, and unfunny humor. I could see a huge line for this movie if the other two prequels were great… but they weren’t so most fans learned their lesson… and many potential new fans were turned off.

I am sure there will be a line for opening day here in Baton Rouge. There always is an opening day line for any movie here in this city. I will buy my tickets a week in advance, and show up 1.5 hours early. SOP for any opening day movie here in Baton Rouge.

Well up here there is opnly a week for the ordering of tickets.
I'll be the only only waiting outside the door when they open them.
But the premier day. I gonna have to sleep outside two days before.
Some fans has announcesed that they gonna be first.
The first ten who come will recive a t-shirt a poster and a lightsaber replica for the first person.

Only rumors, but to make sure I have my room mate come with food and stuff to keep me alive. Got a boyscouts tent ready.

Don't bet on it. Rumors have been flyin' of late.

I saw an interview after EpI where he said he originally planned to do VII, VIII and IX, but condensed all that story line into the original trilogy. Then after that he considered that he could do a different ending trilogy... but he said it takes him about 3 to 4 years per film, and he wanted to do other things with is life other than Star Wars. He added up EpII + EpIII + EpVII + EpVIII + EpIX and said he had better things to do with the end of his life than 18 more years of Star Wars.

Fine fine....If Georgy doesn't want to make more episodes, perhaps he'll be kind enough to let some other like-minded director take up the torch! :)
