To the Auction House mod and (whatevertheotheronewas)?

I'm sure other Avians might find it useful.

Ah right!

I want to thank Cyrus for pointing me to the links for Auctioneer and Lootlink, two excellent mods.

They provide a bunch of information on items in your inventory or you search through any of the items it knows about. Information such as how many of that item is up for auction, what the starting bid is, what the buyout bid is how many have bids on them, etc. It will also provide vendor information, such as how much a vendor buys and/or sells that item for.

Installation is pretty darn easy, just unzip the downloaded files into your WoW directory and they'll drop into the appropriate spot within Interfaces/Addons.

I typically do a /lootlink scan when I log in. It takes just a few minutes and that's a great time to chat and catch up with people.

Enjoy and I hope you find them as useful as I have.

Yes, those mods are a lot of fun. I find myself enjoying them more and more. The lootlink search (/lootlink) is something I did not think much of at first, but I later found it to be very hand for looking up Items I did not have on me at the time.

Remember the data is only as good as your last scan.... so don’t forget to scan. Weekend prices vary from weekdays. I am not sure if it matters all that much, but I try to scan every time I visit IF.

Overall I love trying out mods. As soon as finals and interviews cool down I will try to review a few other mods I find useful.

FYI a new version of auctioneer is out. It is nolonger dependent on Lootlink, and it has several neat features. I have used it for a few days now, and I am liking it alot.
