.... and it's brilliant!!!!!

Definately up to the original triology standard. Also, by seeing this, you see how I and II fit in. Okay, they're still not great films, but they do fit in.

I caught the 12.31 showing (that's 00.31 not just after noon). We got stopped by a stormtrooper on our way in who asked to see our tickets. It was only after that that someone suggested we should have responded "you don't need to see our tickets"!

There was a whole bunch of fans there as expected and a great cheer went up when the opening credits rolled.

The film itself, I'm not going to give anything away other than Yoda is even more seriously cool than in Episode II! There's a few real comic moments to lighten the mood, but in general it's a very dark film. The pace of it is spot on and, though some of the diologue is a bit cheesy, there are no real cheesy scenes. Even the romantic scenes are done reasonably well.

Overall, it's brilliant!!

Edit: I would've posted this 11 hours ago, but decided that sleep would be better!

There you go thinking again, Antan. We know it isn't your stongest suit.

Eleven hours ago would have been preferable.

Yep just saw it, and its good.

Apart from the fact that GL cant write romantic scenes and the occasional wooden acting performance its very good.

You get to see why Darth Vader wears the suit, how Palpatine turns him to the dark side, the death of the jedis, and a huge amount of absolutely gorgeus CG graphics.

It something to look forward to :)

Brilliant film. I could hardly sleep because of it. It's sad and twisted, and invoked the same feelings I had when I watched Empire Strikes Back for the first time.

All is now right in the galaxy, and I can get on with life believing that the great Saga is four movies - ignoring the first two as much as possible.

Oh and I forgot to say that watching the two seasons of Clone Wars helps for background info :D

Especially on how Senator Palpatine came to be the captive of General Grievous and why the general seems to have a bad cold ;)

Yeah, I caught the 12:06am show, It was layed out nice, I really can't complain about it at all really.

I withheld all previews of the movie and avoided pretty much all Episode III stuff as best I could. I'm glad I did, I finally watched the trailer today after watching the movie and realized the trailer gave away stuff I'm glad I saw first hand in the theatre...woot! can't wait to go again. :)

I've got to agree it was really good. I saw it at 1 minute after midnight too. Well, it didn't actually start until 15 minutes after midnight thanks to the trailers.

Anyway, I think it is the best of all six, with only Return of the Jedi coming close to it.

The last credits just ended 32 minuttes ago up here on Greenland.

I cried at the last scenes.
A strong movie. Don't care what others say. This is the favorite forever.

It plays with the viewers emotins.

No review. Too touched still.

(Yeah! Boy's can cry too...)

End was great.

Middle was slow. I can’t put my finger on it, but maybe GL is doing too many transition cut scenes to showcase his leet graphics. Don’t get me wrong, I liked it, but parts of it drug on. Unlike EpI, the dialogue was not the major cause of the dragging… so I am guessing it is the cut scenes.
