Login Failure:
This issue will usually occur from a mistyped password. Please ensure you are typing your password in correctly. The same account and password are used as you use to log in to the game. If you continue to see this message please visit the Account & Billing management site (
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/) and change your password. Try logging into the forums again using this new password.
If this does not alleviate the login situation, once again check the Account & Billing management site. If the information on your account marks your current billing status as ‘Pending’ this may indicate that your current billing cycle has started over. During this period of a new billing cycle the funds required for the next play period must be secured from your bank. There is a grace period which will continue to allow you to play, however until the funds are confirmed as transferred your forum access may be temporarily restricted. This transfer period will normally only last 24-48 hours. If you are experiencing a Login Failure error, it is recommended you wait 48 hours before trying to log in again.
If you have any questions or concerns about this billing procedure it is recommended you contact our Billing Department (
http://www.blizzard.com/support/wowbilling/).
An additional cause of the 'Login Failure' error is the possibility that your password is longer than 16 characters. The forum currently has a password limit of 16 characters or less. If you find your password is longer than 16 characters and you are unable to log in to the forums, please visit the Account & Billing Management page (
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/) and change your password to fit within the 16 character limit. Please make sure that whenever using a new password that you write it down to ensure that it is not easily forgotten until you become accustomed to using it.
