Basically, blizzard is constantly scanning any open application, window, or process in memory while WoW is running. Anything that you do with your PC while on WoW can potentially be tracked. Apparently it is in the EULA, too. That's a pretty damn big breach of privacy, and I'm not at all sure that I like it.

It gathers no actual data. It converts the title of windows to a numeric code, then checks that code vs. known hack program codes. Blizz gets NO information from the scans.

I'm not taking any chances. From now on I'm wearing my tinfoil helmet whenever I play the game. And I recommend you do the same.
