Heh. I may do that. With the way my weekend projects are going (projects meaning having a sewage line replaced, cleaning gutters, HVAC work) I've been a bit distracted. I'll check it out for sure!

I changed companies, and I can play a bit during the day now. I'll be able to install whatever program i need to play too. :)

Here's the game:

The game is also entirely in PHP, with source code available on SourceForge... I'm wondering if Obo and Golga might want to build some of their Dig! game into it and get a hybrid Avian version going...

Ok.. I like this game. I'm up to lvl 7 hull and 300k in cash. I don't like the fact that when you use trade routes, it saps your turns though. I didn't realize it until all my turns were gone. I guess it makes sense, as sort of a penalty for not doing it manually.

Yeah... you can usually do a good trade between two squares for 4 turns if you set it up right, and have the materials for the target port in your hold when you start. Otherwise it takes 6. Not a penalty, but more of a bad programming thing...

Also check to make sure you are using warps and not real spaces. Sometimes what would take 1 warp to transfer between will take 80 turns to do so in real space...

Once you get up to about a billion credits, when you do those trades, each next turn saps off a few miilion credits as the prices respond to your trading... so you only want to do about 50 reps in each two sectors then move on to another Ore/Goods sector pair.

Of course... once you're up to about 100 billion credits in ship resources, someone bigger is going to come along and blow you up... and you restart completely from scratch.... so make sure you're banking your credits.
