Yeah for most areas but even at level 10 I still have places that take 3 turns.... which means its time for an upgrade.... btw the reason I am asking for inventory is just to see how large our little Alliance is...

I wish there was a better description of the rules somewhere. Whats the advantage of a corporate planet over a private planet? Just that your alliance can see?

corporate meaning selling? someone can come in buy all the energy and then attack? AkA no weapons or shields will work from the planet... You'd think you would get some trade tax or something but im not sure...maybe if u trade between 2 of ur own planets its easier for u?

Anycase im still fairly new at this so not really sure

So how come whenever i try changing my values it always says cannot set higher then 100%...i can add! its not over 100...and im not using decimals...

I had that, try typing in all of the numbers, even if you aren't changing them.

Well, I finally figured out how to join the Alliance you guys invited me too, hehe...

Got my planet up and running now.... making some coin... developing a stable world.... still pretty small... but growing everyday !!!!

Don't blow it up !!!!!!!

Think I have about 360K colonists and 105K fighters, 33k torpedos...

Ship is coming along nicely as well... can make quite a stack cash running my trade route thanks to my big hull and strong engines, hehe...

not bad for a first day of trading. Lvl 7 hull and 300k in cash. (I used the trade route option rather than manually, and didn't realize it was sapping my turns until it was too late). :roll:

thats what i did the first time...ack you gotta go to 3 and trade on warp between 3 and 4... trade control has an option to use warp drive only...and that prevents realspace sapping which sucks!

What the hell are you guys talking about, using both realspace or warp uses 4 turns per "Trading" run....

Am I missing something here?

Manti only if ur Engine is above lvl 8 or so...otherwise it can take like 80turns to realspace between adjacent sectors

usually around lvl 10 or 11/12 you should be able to move anywhere in 1 turn via realspace

OK, I'm confused. I upgraded my hull to level 9 and my capacity for energy went up to like 2,000, but my cargo space for anything else is still at 100. What do I need to do to get more cargo space?

yea figured it out you have to change em all at once...meaning there can not be any numbers with a .00 after it in the fields just replace everything when u do it so if you have:

0.00 10.00 0.00 20.00 15.00 0.00

and want that 10 to 15% you'd have to reenter em all as

0 15 0 20 15 0

and click the update and it should accept it

I had just colonized it... was starting to build it up.

I don't think my homeworld is in danger, it is bristling with defenders and torpedos out the ying yang...

hehe yea but once u get going they can just wear down ur defenders dye...rebuild ship die...rebuild

I got 2 planets atm with 110k torps/figters plus sector defenses...not really sure if thats enough but meh...they are building more slowly

I've got 2 planets now myself. Neither one are sufficiently defended I don't think. Got me a good patch of snow flakes in my primary though. :D

I finally got sol bumped today for the first time. Took me like 10 mins to figure out what happened. LOL.

How do the bases work and what do they do for you??? I built one, and it just says I have a base, but I don't see what benefit there is in having one. Maybe I'm just dense, but somebody help me out there.

Oh, and thanks DF, for the help on setting the percentages. Thought I tried that before and it wouldn't work, but it works now. /shrug
