You get Sol bumped if your ships average tech is over 8....

To keep big guys from blocking the port I guess...

I have added to the CONSIDERABLE bounty on Benjamin.... pretty sure his ship is top notch though... I wouldn't want anyone going after him..

My home planet has over 100k fighters and mines in Sector Defense, and 400K fighters on planets, with about 400k torpedos there as well...

Heh.. just did my first combat. Attacked one of Digger's planets and took it from him without a scratch to my ship. I renamed it "Diggerton." That should sufficiently piss him off I'd think. :D

Once your average tech level is above 8, if you're parked in federation space it randomly sends you elsewhere.

You want planets because money left in the planetary bank increases at 5%, instead of the 3% from leaving it in the galactic bank. You guys are leaving all your money in the galactic bank at night, right? :)

Alright, now here's a question... there's a bank terminal at every planet. Which is it hooked to? The 5% planet bank or the 3% galactic bank?

And nobody answered my question about bases.

Can you make any improvements to your base, like you could do in TW2000?

Did you guys know that sector defense fighters sap your planet's energy stores and if the energy runs out, they start taking away 5% of your fighters every turn rotation?

Ummm... I've got a little problem here. I'm out of turns and in sector 4630... which just happens to be the heart of the RFA Empire (Digger's home sector) with 5 fully stocked planets.

He's got an evil rating, and he'd be fun to take out, so all aboard the Avian Attack Squadron. "Calling all Avians... report to Sector 4630 and fire at will."

(gotta play 500 turns before it'll allow us to though...so you'll have to build up urself a bit...) Just remember trade between 3/4 ore and goods upgrade as soon as u got the cash always use warp drive!

Any general idea of what to do?

What amount of money should i have before moving on? What works best after the ore/goods routes? Is the next bump in items at the 100,000,000 level?

Any general advice for a starter would be good :)

Any better items to buy/sell? it's 8cr or 100 million...quite the discrepency.

Btw whats the advantage of corp planets...

and would someone conquer sector: 3577 its ryrics old planet but its fairly useless and though its corporate property it is unuseable so someone not in Useless Drivel can have it...

So his planet ought to have about 66957 fighters left on it. You should be able to take that out.
