There is no country hate, it is all about the laws different countries subscribe to.

Things like the universal code of commerce try to make many commerce laws applicable across the board... but even inside the US some states are not eligible because of their own local law or term definition. My state is the only one which still subscribes to the Napoleonic code. Because of that all of our statutes are actually written, therefore there is no judge made law, and all terms are legally defined somewhere. The UCC defines things differently than our State; therefore our state had to make a statute allowing our citizens the option to proceed using the other laws if they still want to participate.

Not all states and countries allow their laws to be secondary, thus not all states and countries are allowed to participate in sales and contest.

I can make a legal contest here in my state. I can choose to have it written so that people in other states can participate. But there is no way for me to make it legally applicable all across the world. Some countries have some WEIRD issues making it impossible.

And I never thought my law class would pay off
