Software to Grab Before I Graduate

Computing Services just unveiled something new here at LSU. They have always had a site where we could download software, what is new is the much bigger list of software we can choose from. Could you tech guys take that link, and look through the choices on the left. If you see anything worth having, let me know. I am not sure if I loose access to student downloads when I graduate. Therefore I want to make sure I get my hands on everything I may need down the road.

I see some that stick out in my mind, but I know you guys are more knowledgeable and may see a gem or two that I would overlook.

Hmm... there's lots of stuff that's appealing to me as a developer... you may be able to use it. I'm not sure what you have already so i'll list everything that i wouldn't mind having a copy of.

SQL Server might be nice... even if you don't plan on doing any programming... it never hurts to have an easily accessible database server at your disposal.

Adobe Photoshop is always nice to have.

though expect something better soon cause didn't Adobe grab Macromedia?

Adobe Acrobat Professional 7
creates those nasty PDF's that seem to have invaded the internet. Very common useage in business world...
