Once you go WoW, you wont go back!

Also, I bought the collectors edition. It came with a CD key that I can share. I think it is good for 30 days. My brother used it... I wonder if it can be used again? If so, I will be happy to convert one of you grey beards.

The trial is alright. It kinda sucks not to be able to trade or use any on the non-spatial/guild chats... so, you're pretty much out of luck spamming the lfg channel for that group to the Dead Mines... and, another thing, if you get a little too hooked like me, you can't progress beyond level 20 on the trial. Other than those few hang-ups, it's definitely worth checking out.

The ones that seem the most fun to your style.

Let us know what type of action you like andwe'll be able to point out some good choices. We aren't in need of any particular character class atm.

Solo god - "hunter"
Most needed - Warriors, Priests, 'locks, Droods.
Most hated - night elfs
Pet Classes - hunter, Warlocks
Healing Classes - Priest, Pally, Druid. (shaman also, But they are horde only)
Melee Classes - Warrior, Rogue.
Ranged Classes - hunter, Mage, Shadow priest, Warlocks

Above all, Play what you want, But that should give you an Idea.

By the time he gets to the right level, this may not be true...

otherwise, everything else is probably dead accurate.
Frost-based mages do a pretty good job of soloing as well.

Maybe not, but I can bet you that Our groups will never turn down a druid or warlock.
