Wow.. I really thought I'd have a chance to drop in at least a couple times over the holidays. We were just so busy all week. Took a good trip to the in-laws in Jacksonville Beach and spent Christmas and New Years there. Toured St. Augustine by horse and carriage, which was a cool excursion. I've been to St. Augustine many times, but this was a different way to see the town, and being a history buff, I very much enjoyed having the guided tour with all the history of the different buildings and the area and whatnot.

Went fishing off the Jax Beach pier and didn't catch a thing. Got some good stuff for Christmas. Came back with a sick baby, but just a minor ear infection luckily. On the way back, I took a route off the beaten path because I was tired and sick of being on the highway and I really enjoyed the drive through rural SC. Lots of farms, woods and streams cotton fields and stuff. Anyway, good trip but glad to be back.
