Sorry, but if you're going to try and nitpick stuff, I'll just bow out now.

I make moral decisions all the time. I choose not to strangle my boss every day he acts like an ass. I choose to be a good father to my kids instead of ignoring them and letting them grow up to be little shitheads. That has absolutely nothing to do with politics in the general sense of the word.

I'll leave you to your "trying to slap all of the fun out of a wonderful piece of entertainment" fest now. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the point of it.

Good lord people... this is exactly why I wanted this thread in the Forum, rather than here. Like it or not, the artist who created this movie created it to communicate his views on certain philosophical points. I created this thread, in the proper place, to DISCUSS those points. If you have no desire to do so, no one's forcing you.

At this time, I'd like to thank Obo for sufficiently pissing me off today.

The movie is good. The series is much, much better.

I totally agree! I think it's such a shame that the show wasn't better promoted and the episodes weren't shown in order. :?:

They are re-running the show on the Sci-Fi channel...too little, too late, if you ask me.

The movie was really well done and they kept to the heart of the show very, very, well. I would have liked to have had some hope that there will be a sequel or another season of the show. Something...it's too good to just be over.
